Dream Racer is a 2040 high-performance racing concept that blends real-world driving with virtual competition and immersive technology.
Dream Racer explores how immersive technology and human-centered design can transform the racing experience. While the concept includes full interior and exterior design, my UX work shaped the driver’s interface, cockpit layout, and interaction with vehicle systems. By integrating real-time motorsport data with interactive and gamified elements, I aimed to create a cohesive, intuitive experience that makes every driving decision engaging, clear, and responsive.

Traditional racing dashboards focus primarily on raw telemetry like speed, RPM, and fuel, which can feel functional but disengaging. The goal for Dream Racer was to create a cohesive racing experience that balances performance information with immersive, intuitive, and engaging interactions across the interface, interior, and exterior.
This required designing a HUD and driver environment that enhances situational awareness, supports real-time decision-making, and delivers a seamless, gamified racing experience.

I designed 4 distinct driving modes that adapt the interface to each stage of the race day, balancing performance, immersion, and comfort.
A simplified interface that prioritizes comfort and essential information while driving to the track.

A focused performance mode displaying real-time racing data and telemetry to support competitive driving.

A competitive racing mode that unlocks real-time performance with virtual drivers, creating an interactive and gamified racing experience.

A wind-down mode for post-race recovery, with ambient visuals and minimal data to ease the transition after intense driving. The features include:
